Teach-In•Walk•Vigil for a Ceasefire

On March 8th, 2024, about 200 peacemakers participated in all or parts of the Teach-In • Peace Walk • Peace Vigil for Gaza that was held in Philadelphia.

The event was co-sponsored by the Fridays @ Fetterman’s Weekly Peace Vigil and the American Friends Service Committee.

The day began at Arch Street Friends Meeting House with breakfast and fellowship. Next, folks gathered in the Meeting House’s West Room for a Teach-In featuring expert presenters, an amazing poet, and a group of spirit-rousing singers from a nationally acclaimed feminist choir.

After the Teach-In, 150 or more peacemakers joined the 4-block Peace Walk that processed from the Meeting House to the Philadelphia office of Senator John Fetterman.
